Our very first YouTube video is up! And what better place to begin than in beautiful Alicante! It was quite an adventure. Not so much the trip to Alicante (we're regular visitors), but figuring out how all the camera settings work. I don't know anything at all about filming, so it was a pretty steep learning curve with all those possibilities. However, we learned a lot from that trip and have a better understanding of which settings give better results!
The video is captioned with commentary along the way.
I had to edit the entire video twice. The first time I exported the file it turned out the video editing software's limitations was 4K at 30 fps, while the original footage was shot in 60 fps. I came to find out after I had edited the entire video!
We searched high and low to find a program that was able to export the file in 60 fps while still maintaining the 4K quality. We finally found a program called Wondershare Filmora! It's pretty affordable and it's easy to use.
Below are some screenshots from the video we took that day!
The Alicante Marina! Always a treat to relax on the benches there. |
The Casa Carbonell building, one of my favorite architectural masterpieces in Alicante |

Paseo de la Explanada de España promenade |
El Corte Inglés shopping mall, this one was closed today. |
Plaza de los Luceros (this is also where the tram station is, and very close to the train station). |
On the way back home we drove past Benidorm! |
